This is Madina, 11 months old! She is actually 11months old today, her birthday is May 1, 2006. She is able to stand, holding on to my hands, and likes to giggle at Zhanna. Zhanna is excited to be a "big sister" but feels that the baby should stay in "her own house"--for now anyway!! We'll work on that.

Wow, I'm so happy to get a glimpse of your new, adorable family member! I guess it pays to get up ridiculously early (in order to be up before Tiana with her ridiculously early awakenings) -- because I'm apparently the first to see Medina!! Things sound to be going very well, and I'm still greedy for more details. Enjoy your bonding and fill us in when you can. :) By the way, Kim had me following your blog during your trip to adopt Zhanna before I ever met you. It's surreal to see the 2 of you back again for Medina. Can't wait to meet her!

She's a cutie. Matt also was excited about being a brother, but after 2 weeks wanted to know when Katy was going back home. I'm glad you were able to straighten out the flight problem. That minor glitch must have been nerve racking. Everyone looks healthy so I'mm assuming the flu is over. Stay healthy and we will see you all very soon.

So glad we finally got a photo of Madina. She and Zhanna look cute together, and grandma is beaming. Same old same old here (that is another day, another crisis to deal with- and that is not an APril Fools joke).
The weather is fine though-about 55 degrees and summy. The rest of the week will be rainy but I am lovin the sunshine today.

Glad to hear the plane trips went well and that you are all settling into a routine. Can't wait to hear more about how you are all doing. I do get nostalgic about all that time at Malyutka.
