Hello--Madina was trying on her new hat, and learning to clap. She is feeling much better today, and has been babbling and laughing.

By the way, in Almaty, see if the gondola up the mtn is open for the season. Its really beautiful up there, there is a petting zoo, playground, nice mountain and city view, snack bar, and come reasonably priced trinkets. The price to go is reasonable too.
PS: Do we get the prize for the most posts?

Christine, sorry for not being in touch. It was a combination of being sick and then having 17 people for dinner for Dave's birthday. We were at a Mom's club playground day today and everyone was wondering how you are and commenting on how beautiful Madina is!
I'm glad to hear your court date is Friday--the days pass much more quickly on this side of the world.
You pictures are great and bring back so many memories for me. I think about you all daily. We can't wait to meet Madina.

The hat is too cute!
Saw Kim and some others today at Kim's house. Katy and Ryan had fun digging up worms. Katy decided that maybe she would take one home in her pocket. I'm trying to get Elliott to check those pockets before he goes to bed. I'm sure Paul is not going to be happy with the hole, but Kim thought digging would be good for Ryan. That heavy work is good for him.
Matt got to play with his friend down the street this afternoon. We all played until 6PM. I'm tired out from all the playing. Only 3 days of vacation left. Don't know how I'll survive summer. I'm getting a little too old for this.
